Girl with a Contax

Elissa Baker is a born and raised Iowa girl, now living out in the wild in Chicago. She is a writer, photographer, traveler, and owner of too much stuff.

No surprise here, she is a busy mother of two tiny human men, one human male husband, two dogs and a cat. This is a collection of her photography, rambling videos of her editing, and a neglected blog of scattered thoughts concerning her journey with film and other happenings.   

Elissa mainly shoots with a Contax 645. No preferred film of choice as it always changes. Elissa also has a Canon 5D Mark iii and 60D that are in desperate need of a dusting, a blue Fujifilm Instax Mini, and an iPhoneX.
